Quality Assurance Management System

  • Proactively manage and are endorsed for quality assurance through TQCSI – a well recognised international certification company
  • SADB conform to AS-ISO 9001 (quality) and ASNZS 4801 (Occupational Health and Safety)

OH&S Policy

  • It is our firm policy that working activities will be undertaken with all reasonable practical measures needed to avoid risk to the environments and to the health and safety of its employees and other persons who may be affected.
  • The principle objectives of our OH&S Policy are;
    • To provide safe worksites and systems of work
    • To achieve and maintain an incident free workplace
    • To make health and safety a key accountability for every employee
    • To ensure health and safety is considered in all planning and work processes
    • To consult with our workers on a regular basis on safety issues
    • To provide ongoing training and education - ensuring that our staff work in the safest possible manner
    • To take a proactive approach to identify potential accidents/incidents before they happen (i.e. risk assessment and management)
    • To provide effective injury management and rehabilitation to all employees

Environmental Policy

  • It is our policy to minimise and avoid environmental impacts throughout our working activities.
  • The key environmental concerns taken into consideration include;
    • emissions to air
    • releases to water
    • waste management
    • contamination to land
    • use of raw materials and natural resources
    • other local environmental and community issues (noise and smell pollution/habitats/vulnerable areas)

Drug and Alcohol Policy

  • It is recognised that alcohol and drug abuse can have serious adverse effects on workplace safety. As part of this commitment, we have implemented a zero blood alcohol level and drug-free policy.
  • All potential employees are subjected to pre-employment D&A screening. Current SADB employees undergo random D&A screenings.
