Project overview:
SADB were awarded a specialist drill project for the install 500mm gas main under the Isaac River, Moranbah QLD.
Description of work:
The river crossing was completed in 60mps rock conditions, with variable sections of cobble and ground water. The drill required extensive reaming and hole opening with a concentrate drill mud to ensure the drills success. The total drill distance was 440 metres.
