Naval Reserve Pump Station and Rising Main

Project Objective:
SADB has been contracted for the Design, Supply and Install of a Pump Station for the storm water catchment in the Birkenhead area including rising main to the Port River

Description of Work:
SADB undertook their specialist HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling) technique for the installation of 280m of DN450 PE pipe, Civil Works construction techniques to install a 5m deep x 3m diameter Pump Chamber, 2 x Gross Pollutant traps and all associated connection of the rising main. Other works included supply and install of storm water RCP (Reinforced Concrete Pipe), air valves and dewatering.

• Design, supply and install the Port River Storm water Outlet
