Project overview:
Contract by DPTI, SADB drilled and installed 500mm PE sleeve for gas main insertion along with installation of gas & water under the Southern Expressway during the Expressway upgrade.
Description of work:
Two drills were completed over 180 metre distance per drill. Due to the varying ground conditions from cobbles to rock the final drill hole size was over reamed to allow for 500mm PE pipe installation. Drill installed under live traffic conditions under the Southern Expressway.
