City West Substation

Project overview:

Installation of 5 x 66kV feeders from Torrens Island Network Distribution to City West substation.

Description of work:

• Bulk excavation of conduit trench 25 metres wide x 3.5 metres x 150 metres long
• Install of 5 x feeders – 3 x 225mm & 3 x 180mm conduits per feeder
• Install concrete weights into base of trench
• Staged backfill with concrete thermal backfill
• Install polymeric cover board
• Linwood sand backfill to finish level
