Project Objective:
Construct an unsealed trail from the Bald Hills Road Laratinga Wetland Carpark with bridge underpass access to the Regional Sports Hub in Springs Road, Mount Barker.

Description of Work:
SADB was engaged in the construction of both nature walk unsealed footpaths and concrete lead way footpaths for access to the bridge underpass tunnel adjacent the wetlands. The challenge was met while temporarily retaining the wetland water flow from the work site for a safe installation. Work in and around the bridge tunnel included installing permanent concrete and recycled boulder retaining walls, the installation of storm water management systems and pumps chambers and returning the landscape back to its natural state in an environmentally sensitive area.
