O’Connell St North Adelaide

Project overview:

SADB engaged by SAPN to undertake the installation of new emergency power feed for the Womens and Childrens hospital from the North Adelaide substation. The works were deemed as critical and completed with shift rotation works within a reduced time frame. Working along O’Connell St North Adelaide involved extensive consultation with ratepayers and key stakeholders to ensure access at all times to businesses.

Description of work:

• Extensive traffic control
• Installation of 5 manholes 3m wide x 5m long x 2.4m deep
• Trench and install 735 metres of 20 x 100mm electrical and communication conduits
