Ovingham Level Crossing Removal Project

Project Objective:
Removal of the Ovingham Level Crossing and relocation of multiple SA Water assets to allow for the construction of a new bridge on Torrens Road

Description of Work:
SADB has been engaged by McConnell Dowel to relocate multiple sections of water and sewer main lines to make way for construction of a new bridge. SADB are installing the pipeline via HDD (Horizontal Directional Drilling), conventional trenching and NDE (Non-Destructive Excavation).

• Multiple cut ins to existing trunk mains
• Valve and fire plug installation
• Concrete thrust block to secure installations
• Commissioning and hydrostatic testing
