Main South Road Duplication – ITS, Road Lighting, Traffic Signals and SAPN relocation works

Description of work:

As part of the Main South Road duplication project, SADB have been engaged by the Fleurieu Connections Alliance to carry out the construction of ITS system, road lighting and traffic signals along Main South Road. In addition, SADB also did SAPN relocation works various intersections, including Bakewell, Tatachilla, Malpas and Port Road.

• 10km of DIT’s ITS trench
• 9km of road lighting trench
• Traffic signals at Tatachilla/MSR intersection & Port Road/MSR intersection
• Over 250 pole bases
• Utilised both HDD and traditional trenching to maximise productivity and minimise disruption to traffic and community
